Ahlu Albayt Shia Center (AASC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded with the vision of creating a place that promotes the teachings of Ahlu Albayt and strengthens community bonds in Sacramento.
On 07/19/2024, the 13th of Muharram, which commemorates the day of Imam Hussein’s burial in Karbala (peace be upon him), we decided to begin the paperwork to establish the Ahlu Albayt Shia Center.

We, the founders of Ahlu Albayt Shia Center, humbly ask for Allah’s guidance and blessings as we embark on a mission to establish a mosque, school, and community center that will serve as a beacon of faith, knowledge, and unity for our Muslim community.

Our current facility, though a valuable part of our community, is small and lacks the functionality required to fully support our growing congregation. For years, our community has flourished in spirit, yet our physical spaces struggled to keep pace with our expanding needs.
